• Summer Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Daylight Savings Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Rotating Saturdays required

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and assembly of farm, garden, and lawn equipment. The ideal candidate has basic mechanical knowledge, a strong work ethic, and the ability to operate equipment safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain small engines used to power lawn mowers, tractors, and outdoor power equipment
• Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, greasing parts, and tuning ignition systems
• Disassemble and reassemble engines after repair or maintenance
• Record repairs performed, time spent, and parts used
• Assemble and service farm, garden, and lawn equipment and tools
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge or related experience preferred
• Ability to operate a forklift and tractor (required)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift equipment and parts as needed
• Dependable and able to work rotating Saturdays
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role
