Job Overview

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Delivery Driver to operate a 26-foot box truck delivering food products to customer facilities throughout South Alabama and into the Destin area. This position is ideal for a dependable driver who enjoys being on the road, providing great customer service, and staying active throughout the day.

Responsibilities

✅ Operate a 26-foot box truck safely and efficiently
✅ Deliver food products to customers on assigned routes
✅ Load and unload products at delivery locations
✅ Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs
✅ Provide professional service when communicating with customers and vendors
✅ Ensure accurate and timely deliveries
✅ Maintain a clean and safe delivery vehicle
✅ Follow all DOT and company safety requirements

Requirements

✅ Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
✅ Current DOT medical card required
✅ Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience (Non-CDL or CDL)
✅ Experience operating larger delivery vehicles preferred
✅ Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lbs
✅ Strong customer service and communication skills
✅ Dependable attendance and safe driving habits

Work Environment

✅ Local and regional delivery routes throughout South Alabama
✅ Combination of driving, loading, and unloading responsibilities
✅ Physical role requiring lifting and movement throughout the day
✅ Schedule flexibility required for varying route times
