Job Title: Assembly Technician – 1st Shift Location: Smithville, TN Pay: Starting at $18/hr.
Job Description: We are currently seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Assembly Technician to join our team in Smithville, TN. This 1st shift position involves performing a variety of assembly tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform wire harness assembly, light fixture assembly, and door assembly tasks according to specifications.
Complete other related assembly work as assigned.
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Inspect components and finished products for quality assurance.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety procedures.
Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods (up to 10 hours/day).
Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.
Computer literate and able to navigate basic programs for production tracking.
Ability to read and use precision measuring instruments accurately.
Previous experience in a metal fabrication environment is a plus.
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
