A company in Burleson is looking for Finish Out Techs.

 

 

• Must demonstrate the ability to assemble pollution control equipment at acceptable quality and quality levels.
• Must have a minimum of (2) years’ experience assembling capital equipment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervision, manufacturing leads and co-workers.
• Must be able to lift moderately/heavy weights.
• Must possess a good understanding of the operation of all assembly equipment.
• Must have very good time management skills to complete the job on time.
• Must have observational skills, and demonstrate the ability to work at a pace consistent with the assembly schedule.
• This position must communicate regularly with the lead man and supervisor to resolve production problems quickly and efficiently.
• MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO READ A TAPE MEASURE AND HAVE THE BASIC MATH SKILLS IN ORDER TO ADD, SUBTRACT, MUPLIPLY, AND DIVIDE IN FRACTIONS AND WHOLE NUMBERS TO DETERMINE THE CORRECT MEASURMENTS FOR PARTS AND ASSEMBLIES.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble manufactured equipment using company fabricated parts and buy-out items from outside vendors.
• Operate all equipment as required for assembly.
• Move material as required to the assembly department.
• Follow scanning procedures to insure that all time and parts are allocated to the proper work order.
• Full test completed equipment and approve quality of finished product, ensuring that all equipment is tested at full power.
• Must be able to communicate in English with supervisors, peers, sub-ordinates, and co-workers.
• Maintain assembly equipment and do preventative maintenance on the equipment as required.
• Inspect pollution control equipment for compliance to company quality standards.
