Material Handler - Forklift and Reach Truck Operator, 2nd Shift

Salary: $20.40

We have been asked by a Manufacturing client in Westfield, IN to help them find a Material Handler / Reach Truck Operator for second shift. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, transferring products and raw materials, and adapting to a fast-paced environment.

 

Pay: $20.40 per hour.

 

Schedule: Second Shift - Monday-Thursday 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM

 

Type: This is a contract-to-hire job opportunity.

 

What will you do as a Material Handler?

• Operate a narrow-aisle stand-up reach truck and pallet jack.
• Transfer products and raw materials to and from production lines in all departments.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 35 lbs. often.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with a detail-oriented approach.
• Utilize Windows and handheld RF scanning devices.
• Understand general material handling operations.

What qualifications will you have as a Material Handler?

• Strong communication skills.
• Forklift operation experience (stand-up, reach, and sit-down).
• Material handling experience.
• RF Scanner experience.
