Custom Industrial Sewer – Single Needle/ heavy gauge fabric

 

Our client is seeking for a Custom Chair Assembler in the City of Torrance.

 

Position: Full Time - Temp to Perm Opportunity!

Pay $17.87

Schedule: 6am - 3:30pm

 

This position requires hands-on experience operating manual industrial sewing machines, specifically single-needle machines. The role involves sewing wheelchair seats, backs, and related accessories using heavy-gauge fabrics. Candidates must have strong stitching accuracy and quality control skills; measuring knowledge is a plus.

Duties:

Operate manual industrial single-needle sewing machines to sew heavy-gauge fabric for wheelchair seats, backs, and related accessories. Measure materials as needed and ensure accuracy and quality in all finished products.

Requirements:

• Manual Industrial sewing machine experience is a must.
• Single needle machines.
• Sewing accessories and wheelchair seats and backs using heavy gauge fabric.
• Measuring knowledge, a plus
• Must have experience working in a production environment.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be responsible, reliable, dependable, and trainable.
• Must have sense of urgency.

 

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing / warehouse setting
