Pay Rate: $20/HR - Evaluation to hire

Schedule: 1st Shift, typically starts at 7am, but may need to start at 5am when more production is needed 

Limited openings! Must have a minimum 5 years experience with heavy equipment industrial assemblers.

Express Employment Professionals is seeking highly experienced Level III Assemblers for advanced mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment builds and repairs. Candidates must be proficient in blueprint reading, precision tools, troubleshooting, and working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced assembly of engines, PTO drive trains, transmissions, large standby generators, control equipment, and related components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. (Must be computer savvy to pull blueprints)
• Fit, mount, align, adjust, and conduct operational testing of equipment.
• Use precision measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and torque/calibration tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot equipment to determine safe and efficient repair methods.
• Support safety standards, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement processes.
• Assist in keeping production lines progressing and may lead projects or crews as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment assembly experience required.
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills required.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Working knowledge of fluid power schematics preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Email, PDM) required.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Strong communication skills and team mindset.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.; occasionally up to 65 lbs.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and repetitive tool use.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights (4+ feet).
• Exposure to heat, cold, noise, fumes, and mechanical environments.
• Overtime may be required.
• This position requires a pre-work physical, background check, and drug screen (safety sensitive).
