We are hiring a Civil CAD Designer in Salem, OR with strong AutoCAD 2020 or later experience. A Civil Engineering background is required to be considered for this position.

 

This is a full-time, in-house role supporting engineers with civil design and drafting projects. No remote work available – this position works onsite and directly alongside the engineering team. We currently operate on AutoCAD 2025, so candidates must be comfortable working in newer software versions.

 

Entry-level candidates new to the field may start at $26.00 per hour during the trial period, while those with several years of civil CAD experience may start at $30.00 per hour or higher, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and revise civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD

• Support engineers with site plans, grading, utilities, and civil layouts

• Maintain drawing accuracy and organization

• Collaborate closely with in-house engineering staff

• Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards

Qualifications:

• AutoCAD 2020 or later required (experience with 2025 preferred)

• Civil Engineering background required to be considered

• Experience in civil drafting/design

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work full-time onsite in a professional office setting
