Hospital Environmental Services Technician

Location: Pullman, WA
Pay: $18.40/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday 
Shifts: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Hospital EVS Technician to support sanitation and cleanliness across multiple hospital departments. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, sterile, and welcoming healthcare environment for patients, providers, and staff. Ideal candidates are thorough, dependable, and comfortable working in a medical setting with strict cleaning protocols.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform detailed cleaning of hospital rooms, offices, and clinical areas
• Sanitize post-surgery and postpartum rooms according to protocol
• Clean multiple departments throughout each shift
• Follow strict infection-control and sanitation procedures
• Handle and properly clean areas exposed to blood or bodily fluids (hazmat training provided)
• Maintain cleanliness standards that meet healthcare regulations
• Restock supplies and ensure rooms are prepared for incoming patients

What We’re Looking For:

• Comfortable working in a hospital or medical environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures
• Reliable, consistent, and professional work habits
• Ability to handle sensitive environments with professionalism
• Janitorial, housekeeping, or healthcare cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently and independently when needed
• Willingness to complete required safety and hazmat training
