Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Coordinator to join our dynamic practice. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, insurance verification, and record management. Your strong customer service skills and administrative experience will help ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for every patient.
No dental experience is required. Candidates with equivalent customer service, receptionist, call center, or administrative office experience are encouraged to apply.
Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression
Schedule appointments accurately using practice management software (training provided)
Verify insurance coverage and benefits
Collect payments and assist with billing inquiries
Maintain and update patient records within electronic systems
Answer and manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and efficiency
Assist with patient intake procedures and documentation
Support overall office operations and communication between staff and patients
Ensure compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations (HIPAA)
Previous experience in customer service, front desk, receptionist, or administrative support roles required
Medical or dental office experience is a plus but not required
Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, email, scheduling systems)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Bilingual abilities are a plus
Willingness to learn insurance processes, scheduling systems, and office procedures
