Machine Operator / Mold Technician

 Location: Mahwah, NJ
Pay Rate: $19/hour + Overtime

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator / Mold Technician to join our team in Mahwah. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on hydraulic presses and supporting equipment such as rubber mills.

The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality production while maintaining safety standards and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hydraulic presses and related production equipment according to established procedures
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on assigned machinery
• Conduct in-process inspections and adjust machine settings or tools as needed to maintain quality specifications
• Perform pre-operation checks to ensure proper equipment startup
• Operate and monitor multiple machines to ensure consistent quality production
• Communicate effectively with team members and support staff to minimize downtime
• Follow standardized work protocols and safe work practices
• Maintain housekeeping and sanitation standards
• Work overtime as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Trade School equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to weigh and measure materials accurately and mix to specific ratios
• Ability to interpret blueprints and product specification drawings
• Basic communication skills
• Ability to wear required PPE (Safety Glasses, Gloves, Hearing Protection, Safety Shoes, Protective Arm Sleeves, etc.)
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required
