Tire Retread Technicians

What is the opportunity?

• If you like working with your hands, are mechanically inclined, and like a busy work environment with diverse job duties, this may be the job for you. We are hiring Large Tire Retread Technicians to join the team of leading tire retailer and retreader.

 How will you spend your time?

• Follow large tire work orders to repair or retread the tire.
• Operate machines to a) inspect tire quality and reparability, b) remove worn tread and true up the roundness of the tire, c) repair and patch imperfections, d) attach new tread, and e) wrap and cure the tire to permanently bond the new tread to the bonding layer.

We will be excited about you if you have the following?

• Tire retreading or repair experience is preferred.
• Success and tenure in jobs of relevant experience, i.e. repair shop, heavy manufacturing
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Aptitude for detail and quality
• Full physical abilities (Strength, flexibility, mobility) to perform job duties

What do you get in return?

• Work schedule is 5 AM to 1:30 PM. Overtime may be required in the busy season, extended shift during the week up to 3 PM, and full shift on Saturdays
• Starting Compensation is $18 hr., with a merit review upon completion of probationary period
