Key Responsibilities

• Perform complete machine setups including tooling, offsets, and program verification
• Load raw material and ensure proper material alignment
• Run first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments
• Monitor production to maintain quality and cycle time targets
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make process corrections as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety and quality procedures at all times

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience setting up Swiss-type CNC lathes preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Strong understanding of tooling, speeds, feeds, and offsets
• Experience using measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
