Salary: $50,000 - $60,000
Express Employment Professionals in Ithaca, NY is currently recruiting for a strong Store Manager for a client in the Ithaca area - This role will manage the day to day operations including hiring and coaching staff, meeting monthly performance goals for the office, driving sales strategies, meeting customer requirements and making fiscally sound business decisions. Previous management experience, with a focus on sales growth required. Must be highly customer focused.
Responsibilities include:
Leadership & Staffing: Hiring, training, mentoring, and scheduling employees, while conducting performance reviews
Customer Service: Ensuring a positive customer experience and resolving complex customer issues.
Administrative: Managing schedules, inventory and reviewing sales reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a retail or managerial role is generally required
- Leadership: Strong team-building and motivational skills
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make fast, effective decisions
- Organization: Strong multitasking and time-management capabilities
