HVAC Field Technician - Manassas, VA

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Field Technician to join our growing team in Manassas, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician to work with residential and commercial HVAC systems while earning competitive hourly wages.

Compensation

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour

• Based on experience and certifications
• Opportunities for overtime
• Performance-based incentives available

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Diagnose system malfunctions and perform troubleshooting
• Conduct routine maintenance and seasonal tune-ups
• Replace filters, belts, and other system components
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Provide excellent customer service and technical explanations
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• EPA certification (Type I, II, or Universal preferred)
• 2+ years of HVAC field experience
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC trade school certification
• Additional certifications (NATE, OSHA, etc.)
• Experience with commercial systems
• Electrical troubleshooting experience
