Our client in Wickliffe, OH is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Mobile Equipment and Forklift Operator to join their steel mill team. The ideal candidate will operate mobile equipment, forklifts, and carriers to safely move, load, and unload materials throughout the facility, supporting production and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts, mobile equipment, and material carriers in a safe and efficient manner
Transport raw materials, finished goods, and supplies within the steel mill
Load and unload trucks and production lines
Follow safety protocols and adhere to all OSHA and company regulations
Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs
Assist with general warehouse and production tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Prior experience operating forklifts and mobile equipment preferred
Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely
Strong attention to safety and detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Additional Information:
Full-time position
Pay: $19/hour, with potential for future growth based on performance
Safety gear and proper attire required (steel-toe boots, gloves, etc.)
