Warehouse Associate - Hazmat - Eval to Hire

Our client in Sherwood is growing quickly and looking for experienced Warehouse Associate to join their high‑performance team. This role is perfect for someone who is safety‑driven, detail‑oriented, and ready to step into work that involves handling hazardous materials (HazMat) in a clean, well‑organized facility.

Duties:

• Safely handle, label, and store hazardous materials in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Operate a sit-down forklift for loading, unloading, staging, and transporting inventory.
• Complete required HazMat documentation, logs, and reports with accuracy.
• Receive, inspect, and organize inbound materials.
• Prepare outbound shipments following all safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, compliant warehouse environment.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock rotation.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
• Follow all OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company safety protocols at all times.

Required Skills, Experience, and Physical Abilities:

• If HazMat experience is not listed clearly on the resume, the successful candidate will need to articulate their experience by email with the recruiter prior to moving forward
• Minimum 1 year of sit‑down forklift experience (must be comfortable operating throughout the shift or as needed).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Comfortable being on your feet for the majority of a 9‑hour shift.
• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to cross‑train in various warehouse functions depending on workflow needs.

Pay:

$22.00/hr

Schedule:

Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
