Salary: $28-$35/hr DOE

We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Technician for a manufacturing company in Leominster, MA.  This position will be responsible for the assembly, testing and troubleshooting of automated machinery. This is a DIRECT HIRE position.

 

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, fit, and wire machines, assemblies, and sub-assemblies to specifications and tolerances, performing fitting, drilling, and reaming as required
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings, and troubleshoot electrical wiring issues
• Pick, inspect, and verify stockroom parts, reporting discrepancies
• Test and run completed machines or assemblies to meet specifications, troubleshooting, repairing, reworking, or rebuilding as needed
• Assist with customer testing, demonstrations, and machine preparation for shipment
• Report part or design errors to management and collaborate with Engineering to correct and improve designs
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment while following processes, procedures, and corporate policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of electrical and mechanical manufacturing experience
• Prior experience with building large and complex machines
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings
• Must be able to travel to customer sites across US for installations/servicing (approx. 10-15% of time)

The schedule is Mon-Fri 6:30AM-3:30PM with flexibility available. The pay is $28-$35/hr depending upon experience.  This is a full-time (DIRECT HIRE) opportunity with great growth potential.
