Production & Installation Technician 

Employment Type: Full-Time 

Position Summary: 
The Production & Installation Technician fabricates, assembles, and installs a variety of interior and exterior signage. This role requires mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The role also involves assisting customers in the showroom and handling phone inquiries.  

Key Responsibilities: 

Production & Fabrication 

• Prepare and apply vinyl graphics, digital prints, and other materials 

• Measure, cut, assemble, and finish materials including aluminum, acrylic, wood, PVC, and banners 

• Perform laminating, trimming, painting, and other fabrication tasks 

• Inspect materials and finished products for quality and consistency 

• Follow work orders and production schedules 

Installation 

• Install signage including wall/window graphics, dimensional letters, post-and-panel, monument, ADA, and vehicle graphics 

• Safely use ladders, hand tools, and power tools 

• Follow installation plans and site surveys 

• Maintain clean, precise, professional installations 

• Represent the company positively when interacting with clients 

Customer Interaction & Shop Support  

• Greet and assist customers who visit the showroom  

• Answer phone inquiries appropriately  

• Provide basic information about products, services, and timelines (training provided)  

• Maintain a professional, customer-friendly attitude 

Qualifications 

• Experience in sign production/installation preferred (training available for the right candidate) 

• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand/power tools 

• Ability to read work orders, blueprints, and installation diagrams 

• Basic computer skills (job tracking systems, email, digital work orders) 

• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather 

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills 

• Valid driver’s license with clean record 

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
