Overview: A Port Townsend services company is seeking a temporary Customer Service Representative to join their team to provide prompt, courteous and reliable customer service. Duties include answering customer inquiries, document management, accurately handling and posting customer payments, updating customer accounts, and processing service orders to establish or discontinue services.
JOB DUTIES:
May include but not limited to the following:
- Review low-income application packets to make sure all necessary documents have been completed.
- Schedule in home visits and contact customers for scheduling.
- Ensure consistent communication with customers by tracking, monitoring, and closing communication loops.
- Open and sort mail to prepare for bank scan (check payments).
- Provide mail services related to inner office mail, post office runs as necessary, stuffing envelopes, processing returned mail.
- Review new customer application packets to make sure all documents have been completed. The apps will then be routed to CSRs for processing service orders.
- Assist with testing procedures related to call routing, call workflows, documentation efficiency to streamline documentation/forms/application packets.
- Process charge review, rate schedule review and verifying business customers are on business rates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Knowledge of organizational techniques and computer software including Microsoft Office products
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
- Attention to detail
- HS Diploma or equivalent and two years of related office experience in customer service including the use of office machines, computers and software including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to pass background check
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Reliable transportation
Hours/Shift:
M-F 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required.
Pay:
$29.41 per hour
