TEMPORARY OPPORTUNITY!
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: $45.00-$55.00/HR
Duties:
Communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to support quality planning and validation
Apply GD&T principles and use precision measurement tools to verify product conformance
Support and improve quality assurance processes within plastic injection molding operations
Lead APQP activities and maintain required documentation (FMEAs, Control Plans, Work Instructions, Visual Standards)
Conduct internal audits and support corrective action activities
Utilize Minitab and other statistical tools to analyze data and document results
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive quality planning, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement
Lead product launch validation efforts with a focus on achieving zero defects
Perform quality inspections on the production floor and move between machines as needed
Maintain accurate records of quality checks, findings, and improvement actions
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across all organizational levels
Ability to read and interpret blueprints; solid understanding of GD&T
Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
Working knowledge of quality assurance principles and plastic injection molding processes
PC proficiency, including data entry, documentation, and statistical software
Self‑motivated team player with strong problem‑solving skills
Experience with APQP processes and documentation
ASQ‑CQE or CQA certification preferred
Internal auditing training or certification a plus
Experience using Minitab or similar statistical analysis tools
Ability to stand for long periods, move between machines, and perform repetitive tasks
Good manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 40 lbs
