The Commercial Door Fabricator is responsible for measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing commercial aluminum storefront systems, glass doors, and related hardware. This role ensures all products meet quality standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble commercial aluminum doors, frames, and storefront systems

• Cut, glaze, and install glass panels in aluminum framing systems

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications

• Measure materials accurately and ensure precise fabrication

• Install door hardware including closers, panic bars, hinges, and locks

• Operate fabrication tools such as saws, drills, routers, and cutting equipment

• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations

• Inspect finished products for quality control and accuracy

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Assist with on-site installations when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in commercial door fabrication or glazing preferred

• Knowledge of aluminum storefront systems and curtain wall systems

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

• Strong measuring and math skills

• Familiarity with hand and power tools

• Ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs)

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with commercial hardware installation

• OSHA safety training

• Welding or metal fabrication experience (a plus)
