Welder / Soldador (TIG & MIG)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join a metal manufacturing and fabrication environment. This role is responsible for performing TIG and MIG welding on metal components, ensuring strong, clean welds that meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on metal materials according to specifications and blueprints

• Read and interpret basic drawings and measurements

• Set up welding equipment and select proper materials and wire

• Inspect welded surfaces and ensure quality and structural integrity

• Grind, clean, and finish welded parts as needed

• Measure materials using tape measure and basic tools

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

• Assist with general shop duties and material handling when required

Requirements:

• Previous experience with TIG and MIG welding

• Ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, squares, gauges)

• Comfortable working with metal fabrication equipment and power tools

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Dependable attendance and punctuality

• Steel-toe boots required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Welding training, certification, or vocational schooling

• Experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication shop

• Basic English communication skills (Spanish helpful)
