Job Description:

The Inside Sales Representative will prepare accurate quotes, collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure project success, and build and nurture customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of machining or fabrication experience. They will be self-driven, detail oriented, adaptable, and well-spoken, with an ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers to identify and understand their product or service needs and recommend value-added products or services to meet those needs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through effective relationship management to increase loyalty, retention, and sales.
• Prepare accurate price quotes, define technical specifications, and advise on product applications.
• Coordinate with operations to confirm dates and resolve order issues.
• Interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to accurately prepare jobs for release in our ERP system.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of machining or fabrication experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• In-depth knowledge of various metals, their applications, and fabrication processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for managing customer interactions, providing technical assistance, and resolving complaints.
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong math skills for things like calculating material requirements, labor hours, and machine time.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously without losing accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time
Starting Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
*All pay and promotion decisions are performance-based*
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm, Friday, 7:30 am – 11:30 am
