Job Title: Account Manager / Associate Account Manager

 

Job Summary

 

The Account Manager / Associate Account Manager (AAM) serves as the primary point of contact for clients and their customers. This role is responsible for building and sustaining long-term relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting overall account retention. The AAM works closely with internal teams, clients, and service partners to deliver high-quality service and operational excellence.

Additionally, this position plays a key role in evaluating, managing, and maintaining vendor relationships to ensure clients receive reliable service at competitive pricing. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to ensure service and quality expectations are met.
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts within the client portfolio.
  • Ensure timely renewals for all assigned accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to sell ancillary services and generate referrals from existing clients.
  • Proactively present site enhancement ideas to clients.
  • Lead, facilitate, or assist in resolving customer concerns or service issues.

Operational & Vendor Coordination

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors to ensure high-quality service at competitive pricing.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Ensure reliable delivery service and supply for all business needs.
  • Coordinate services between service partners when needed.
  • Use Service Channel or other client-oriented systems to keep all information updated and ensure service validation processes are completed.

Financial & Administrative Duties

  • Develop accurate estimates and takeoffs for new and existing clients as needed.
  • Manage service delivery to ensure alignment with the scope of work and client expectations.
  • Support branch financial goals by maintaining acceptable gross margins for base contracts and enhancement services.
  • Maintain satisfactory accounts receivable levels.
  • Participate in client meetings and assist the Senior Account Manager in leading the client service team.
  • Ensure all systems are consistently updated with current client information and meeting notes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Account Manager.

Work Environment

  • Primarily an in-office role
  • May involve work both indoors and outdoors depending on client needs, site visits, or service coordination activities
