Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals – Forest Lake is seeking dependable and hardworking candidates for multiple General Labor openings in Hugo, MN. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to build hands-on skills in a fast-paced, physical work environment. Pay & Schedule

Hourly Pay:

$18.00 per hour

Schedule Options:

Day Shift (1st Shift — final schedule determined after discussion with hiring manager):

  • 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Thursday, or
  • 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Thursday

Night Shift (2nd Shift):

  • 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM, Monday–Thursday, or
  • 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM, Monday–Thursday

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor tasks in a truss construction environment
  • Read and interpret basic measurements using a tape measure
  • Lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
  • Stand, bend, twist, and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace

Qualifications

  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Must bring your own hammer, tape measure, utility knife, and steel-toed boots
  • Truss construction experience preferred but not required
  • Comfortable with heavy physical labor (lifting, standing, bending, twisting)
  • No background check or drug screen required
  • Strong dependability and reliability
  • Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
