🚛 Now Hiring – Movers

Hi! We have a professional moving company in West Sacramento looking to build a reliable crew. We’re seeking candidates with general labor and/or loading & unloading experience. Prior moving company experience is a plus. Pay is $20–$25/hr depending on experience, and you will interview for placement.

Schedule is typically Monday–Friday with possible Saturdays for overtime. Work is based on job orders (not full household moves—jobs are by room). You’ll be guaranteed a minimum of 4 hours pay, even if the job is completed sooner.

Requirements: must be reliable and motivated, have a clean background (no theft/violence in the last 7 years), and be able to complete a drug test in our Woodland office.

🟦 Lead Qualified Mover (Experienced)

Role Summary:
Experienced mover responsible for directing load order, ensuring job-site safety, and properly executing tiered POD/truck loading.

Required Qualifications:
✔ 2+ years of professional moving experience
✔ Proven experience loading PODS or box trucks
✔ Strong understanding of tiered loading methodology
✔ Skilled in furniture protection (moving pads, shrink wrap)
✔ Ability to lead 1–3 movers on-site
✔ Strong communication and customer-facing skills

Physical Requirements:
💪 Ability to lift up to 100 lbs (team lift)
💪 Repetitive bending, carrying, stair work

Disqualifiers:
❌ No POD/truck loading experience
❌ Warehouse-only background without residential/commercial moving experience

🟨 Standard Mover – Loader / Unloader

Role Summary:
Skilled mover assisting with loading, unloading, furniture protection, and maintaining job-site efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
✔ Prior moving or heavy labor experience
✔ Ability to follow tiered loading instructions
✔ Familiar with moving pads, shrink wrap, dollies
✔ Works well in a team environment

Physical Requirements:
💪 Lift 75+ lbs
💪 Comfortable working 4–10 hour shifts

🟩 General Labor Mover (Entry-Level)

Role Summary:
General labor support assisting movers with carrying, staging, padding, and cleanup.

Required Qualifications:
✔ Reliable and punctual
✔ Able to take direction
✔ Willing to learn professional moving best practices

Role Limitations:
• Not responsible for load planning
• No independent POD/truck loading
