Our client, a family-owned manufacturing company in Northeast San Antonio, is looking for a CNC Machinist for a long term, evaluation-hire opportunity. Pay is $20-$25 an hour depending on experience. Seeking a dependable and motivated CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for candidates with CNC-Mill experience. You will operate vertical milling machines to produce precision components used in our thermal and acoustic insulation products. Duties for the CNC Machinist position include:

• Operate CNC vertical milling machines according to production specifications.
• Perform basic quality checks using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
• Monitor machine operations and report any issues or irregularities.
• Assist with machine setup under supervision.
• Experience with vertical mills or sheet metal components.

Requirements for the CNC Machinist position are:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 6+ months previous experience in set and operation of CNC vertical milling.
• Familiarity with basic measuring tools and mechanical drawings.
• Must have basic math skills, a strong understanding of print reading, a good knowledge of tool holders and precision measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

This is a long term, evaluation hire opportunity. Hours for the CNC Milling Machinist position are 6am to 3pm Monday through Thursday. Pay is $20-$25 an hour depending on experience.
