Job SummaryWe are looking for a dependable and skilled Make Ready / Maintenance Technician to ensure our guest rooms and common areas are clean, fully functional, and ready for occupancy. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and comfort our guests expect.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare guest rooms and suites for new arrivals, ensuring they meet hotel standards
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks
Replace light bulbs, fixtures, appliances, and furniture as needed
Touch-up painting and repair walls, doors, and floors
Inspect rooms for safety and cleanliness, reporting larger maintenance issues
Assist with upkeep of common areas, hallways, and outdoor spaces
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests
Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in a safe and organized manner
Qualifications
Previous hotel, hospitality, or general maintenance experience preferred
Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair
Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
Reliable transportation and strong attendance
