Job Summary

 

·         Supervise the Shipping personnel.

·         Supervise all aspects of shipping, including pulling picklist, packing orders, weighing and wrapping pallets, running rates, creating BOL’s, and loading trucks.

·         Monitor inventory by completing cycle counts as required.

·         Schedule and coordinate vendor freight pickups and shipments

·         Manage freight disputes

·         Assign workloads and daily tasks to Shipping and Receiving personnel

·         Communicate with Customer Service to provide freight quotes, answer shipping and receiving questions and troubleshoot problems

·         Ensure inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained

·         Ensure safety procedures are followed when operating forklifts and other machinery

 

 

Requirements:

 

·         A minimum of two years’ supervisory experience in a warehouse environment

·         Clear knowledge of warehouse operations

·         Leadership, organizational and time management skills to run the warehouse efficiently

·         Problem-solving skills

·         Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

·         Current or previous forklift certification

·         Bilingual Spanish required.
