Control Panel Builder

Pay: $18–$22 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:  Mon-Fri 7:30pm-4pm

Location:  Tampa FL

Position Overview

The Control Panel Builder is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing industrial control panels in accordance with UL508A standards. This role requires hands-on electrical experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience building industrial control panels.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and assemble industrial control panels to UL508A specifications.

• Perform equipment wiring, terminations, and point-to-point panel wiring.

• Test completed panels for functionality, accuracy, and safety.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.

• Mount components, route wiring, and ensure clean, organized panel layouts.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.

• Troubleshoot wiring issues and make corrections as needed.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

• Follow company quality standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience building industrial control panels.

• Strong knowledge of UL508A standards.

• Experience with equipment wiring and electrical testing.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
