Payroll & Accounts Payable Specialist

Pay: $18 per hour
Schedule: Approximately 25 hours per week
Hours: Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM
Employment Type: Part-time with opportunity to transition into full-time

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Accounts Payable Specialist with hands-on payroll processing and accounts payable experience to join our client’s team in Rock Island, IL.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Ensure accurate calculation of wages, garnishments, and deductions

·         Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies

·         Manage full-cycle AP (invoice receipt through payment)

·         Code invoices to appropriate GL accounts

·         Process ACH, wire, and check payments

·         Reconcile vendor statements

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience
• 2+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience
• Experience with 10 key adding machine
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems
• Proficiency in Excel
