Quality Control Technicians (Contract, 1st Shift, $19/hr)

A premier Gainesville Manufacturer is looking for 2 Quality Control Technicians on day shift with at least 1 year experience in reading blueprints and utilizing measurement tools such as calipers/hand gauges/overlays for an evaluation to hire opportunity.  Workplace is clean, air conditioned, and growing! This position is contract in nature for 3 months with a strong likelihood of extension.

 

Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Making precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and other tools

- Compare various manufactured products versus product specification sheets

- Report/Document any non-conforming product

 

Candidates should possess the following:

- Strong Attention to detail

- Experience utilizing hand tools for precise measurements

- Background in manufacturing, QA, Final Inspection, or Quality control

- GD&T experience highly preferred

 

Pay starts at 19/hr. 1st shift will work 4 x 10 hour days per week Monday - Thursday from 5am - 3:30pm with some opportunity for overtime on Fridays as required. Candidates must have their high school diploma and will submit to drug screening, background screening, and employment verification.
