Surface Mining Operator

Salary: 21.00

We are looking for a Surface Mining Operator who has proven experience operating heavy machinery. This position is FT, long-term with great benefits and growth. Pay starts at $21/hr, 1st and 3rd shifts are available. 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am, 4days/week. Must be available to work weekends as schedule requires. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a valid DL. Class A or B is a plus
• Must have manual transmission experience 
• Must have MSHA paperwork or willing to obtain
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as; tractors, bobcats, backhoe, excavators, tractors, or semis. 
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background requirements

 

DUTIES: 

• Operate heavy equipment on a daily basis such as, excavators, haul trucks, bulldozers to facilitate in moving dirt, equipment, and facilitate in surface mining activities
• Conduct routine inspections & maintenance of machinery
• Follow OSHA Safety regulations and company policies daily
• Assist with set up and operation of equipment
• Support other construction sites as needed
