Draftsperson

Located in Brunswick, GA

Express Employment Professionals in Brunswick, GA is seeking a detail-oriented Draftsperson to support the engineering team of one of our clients. The ideal candidate will produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D models, maintain revision control and assembly BOM's, collaborate closely with the engineering, production and customers. Prior experience with GD&T, Siemens Solid Edge (or similar CAD), and rotating or pumping equipment is a plus. 

SOME KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and update detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for components subassemblies, and complete assemblies.
• Prepare and maintain assembly Bills of Materials (BOMs) and parts lists.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvements initiatives. 
• Estimate drafting effort and manage time across multiple projects of varying complexity. 

SOME REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency in 3D CAD Modeling and 2D drafting; experience with Siemens Solid Edge preferred.
• Strong understanding of drawing standards and GD&T practices.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and engineering tasks.
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, manufacturable drawings.
