Landscape Foreman

Location: Guelph, ON (local travel to job sites; must have reliable vehicle)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay: $28–$30/hour (based on experience) + performance-based bonus & profit sharing
Employment Type: Evaluation-to-Hire

About the Role:
Express Guelph is hiring on behalf of a well-established, family-owned landscaping company looking for a motivated Landscape Foreman. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage a small crew while performing landscaping work alongside your team. This position offers a strong opportunity for growth within a local, reputable business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a crew of 2–3 employees, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Perform hands-on landscaping tasks, including maintenance, planting, mulching, and general labour.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, hand and power tools).
• Communicate with management and clients, providing project updates and maintaining standards.
• Ensure worksites are safe, clean, and professional at all times.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role (5 years preferred).
• Landscaping experience is an asset but not required.
• Valid G driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to job sites.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing outdoor work in all weather.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate hand tools for extended periods.
