Production Supervisor – Night Shift

Location: Casa Grande, AZ
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Position Summary

The Production Supervisor leads hourly manufacturing employees across all phases of production on the assigned shift. This role is responsible for shift safety, quality, staffing, productivity, and documentation. The supervisor exercises independent judgment, enforces plant standards, and maintains production flow and accountability.

This is a hands-on floor leadership role in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supervise hourly production employees during assigned shift

  • Lead shift safety, GMP, and quality compliance

  • Enforce company policies and operating procedures

  • Manage shift staffing, labor utilization, and line coverage

  • Direct and support temporary labor to meet production goals

  • Monitor product quality and resolve production issues in real time

  • Conduct shift meetings and safety talks

  • Maintain housekeeping and plant standards

  • Review and approve employee time records

  • Complete shift reports, logs, and compliance documentation

  • Manage machine utilization and efficiency targets

  • Coordinate with maintenance and engineering on performance issues

  • Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives

  • Assist plant leadership with operational and staffing recommendations

  • Participate in inventory activities and production reviews

  • Execute leader standard work daily

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent operations experience

  • Minimum 2 years manufacturing supervisory experience preferred

  • Prior production floor leadership experience required

  • Experience supervising hourly employees

  • Ability to work night shift consistently
