Press Brake Operator - Experience Required

Salary: $19/hr

The Press Brake Operator uses a press brake to manufacture components from sheet metal. The Press Brake Operator prepares, sets up and adjusts the press brake as required by product plans and production schedules. Ensures that there is sufficient raw material available. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

·         Effectively demonstrate knowledge in the use of tape measure, calipers, and the ability to read and understand drawing/print specifications.

·         Proficient computer skills in MS Office and CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

·         Must have 2+ years of press brake experience, and preferably 2+ years of flat laser experience.

·         Advanced math skills preferred.

·         Must present a professional appearance with the ability to interact and communicate well with customers and suppliers.

·         Strong attention to detail, quality focused and willing to learn.

·         Demonstrates a sense of urgency to meet deadlines, while maintaining a flexible can-do attitude.
