Bender Operator - Experience Required

Salary: $18.50/hr

The Bender Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC and our manual bending machines to bend, form, and shape metal tubing and bar products according to customer specifications. This position ensures quality, efficiency, and safety standards are consistently met while maintaining production goals.

Responsibilities

·         Set up and operate tube and bar bending machines according to work orders and blueprints

·         Accurately measure materials and finished parts using a tape measure

·         Read and interpret blueprints

·         Verify material type, size, and specifications before production

·         Perform first piece inspections and ongoing quality checks

·         Make machine adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and tolerance

·         Maintain accurate production logs and quality documentation

·         Identify and report equipment issues or material defects

·         Follow all company safety policies and procedures

·         Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         Previous manufacturing experience required; tube bending experience preferred

·         Strong proficiency using a tape measure and reading measurements accurately

·         Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools

·         Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

·         Strong attention to detail

·         Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
