Job Title: Facility Attendant
Reports to: Plant Manager
Department: Works throughout the facility (inside/outside)

Job Overview:
Join a metal services manufacturing facility as a Facility Attendant. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace. Perfect for someone reliable, proactive, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities:

• Routine walkarounds, emptying trash bins, general janitorial duties
• Clean shop floors: contain oil spills, sweep, mop
• Maintain production lines to prevent grease buildup
• Paint equipment, railings, and floors to keep the facility looking professional
• Clean shipping office and plant washrooms
• Support other general shop floor duties as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• Secondary school education
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred
• 1 year experience in janitorial or handyman duties
• Painting experience is an asset
• Strong organizational skills, good communication, initiative, team player

Working Conditions:

• Indoor, climate-controlled facility
• Standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, repetitive tasks
• Flexible hours (e.g., 10 AM – 6 PM Mon–Thu, 8 AM – 4 PM Fri)

Key Performance Indicators:

• Safety: follow procedures, report hazards immediately
• Attendance: punctual and reliable
• Quality: accurate work, flag issues promptly
