We are seeking a reliable and experienced Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for safely transporting freight, equipment, and personnel to various locations while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and operational efficiency across our organization.

This role is currently not open to students or those who are looking for temporary roles.

Shifts: Monday-Friday Day shift

Pay: $23-$28/hour + 4% vacation pay ( Payroll )

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport freight and equipment to designated locations.
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement.
  • Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and vehicle maintenance reports.
  • Assist with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and organizing freight.
  • Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle reliability.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation duties.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues that arise.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in commercial driving or freight transportation preferred.
  • Knowledge of forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is a plus.
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Basic automotive repair skills are desirable for maintaining vehicle performance.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
