We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. This role is vital in ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of goods in and out of our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse distribution processes, operate various material handling equipment, and maintain organized inventory records. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are paramount.

This role is currently not open to students or those who are looking for temporary roles.

Shifts: Monday-Friday ( must be flexible to work days/night shifts as well)

• Afternoon 3pm - 11pm

Pay: $21-$23/hour + 4% vacation pay

Duties

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages
• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately using order picker and warehouse management system (WMS)
• Operate clamp trucks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials within the facility
• Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain accurate inventory records through proper documentation in warehouse management systems
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock organization
• Ensure heavy lifting is performed safely, following proper techniques to prevent injury
• Assist with order picking to fulfill customer or production requests
• Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics preferred
• Must have 2+ years of experience with Counterbalance and Reach with a valid license
• Must have 2 verifiable forklift references from previous employment
• This role is not transit accessible so having a car or reliable transportation is required
• Proficient in operating forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
• Basic math skills for accurate order picking and inventory management.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
