Wellness Coordinator
Job Summary: The Wellness Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting clients throughout their treatment journey. The Wellness
Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a safe and structured environment, monitoring client behavior, administering
assessments, and facilitating essential aspects of daily operations. This role requires empathy, strong observational
skills, and the ability to support clinical staff while upholding facility policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and structure for adolescents ages 13–17 during evening IOP sessions
- Monitor client safety during transitions, breaks, groups, and unstructured times
- Support clinicians in maintaining program flow and therapeutic schedules
- Greet and assist families at drop-off and pick-up with professionalism and warmth (in English and Spanish)
- Manage front desk responsibilities including phones, attendance tracking, and sign-in/out
- Assist with wellness check-ins, incident documentation, and real-time updates to leadership
- Respond to escalated behaviors using trauma-informed strategies and crisis protocols
- Support program operations with light administrative and organizational tasks
Schedule:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Full Time: 8:30AM – 4:30PM
- Part Time: 8:30AM – 11:00PM
Qualifications:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish Preferred
- Experience working with adolescents in school, clinical, or community settings strongly preferred
- Ideal for students or recent graduates in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related fields
- Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and professionalism with both teens and parents
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, in-person environment
