Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Parts Mechanic with hands-on experience in engine rebuilding and component management. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate parts inventory, supporting rebuild processes, and ensuring components are properly inspected, organized, and ready for use. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment.

PAY DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain parts inventory, including receiving, stocking, and tracking materials

• Inspect, label, and organize engine components and related parts

• Assist with engine rebuilds, including work involving crankshafts and internal components

• Monitor inventory levels and communicate parts needs

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

• Support technicians by locating and preparing required parts

• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Experience rebuilding engines required

• Experience rebuilding Cummins engines strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of crankshafts and internal engine components

• Previous inventory or parts management experience preferred

• Ability to read work orders and parts lists

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to lift and move parts as needed

• Basic computer skills

Preferred Skills:

• Welding experience preferred

• Mechanical troubleshooting ability

• Experience in a shop, manufacturing, or heavy equipment environment

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently

• Team-oriented with good communication skills
