1st shift Parts Prepper #8854

Location: Oconomowoc, WI

Shift: Mon – Thur (6:30am-5:00pm) & OT on Fridays when needed

Pay Rate: $17.00-20.00p/hr

Description:

• Clean, degrease, wash, or chemically treat parts before coating.
• Perform sanding, grinding, or scuffing to ensure proper coating adhesion.
• Operate blasting equipment (sandblast/media blast) as required.
• Mask parts according to specifications using tape, plugs, caps, or custom masking.
• Hang, rack, or stage parts for powder coating, wet coating, or other finishing processes.

• Inspect incoming parts for defects such as rust, oil, weld spatter, or surface damage.
• Verify that part preparation complies with customer and internal specifications.
• Identify and report nonconforming materials or issues prior to coating.
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of preparation equipment.
