Chemical Processing Supervisor – Aircraft Anodizing / Chemfilm

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Frequently Over 40 Hours
We are seeking an experienced Chemical Processing Supervisor for a reputable aerospace manufacturing facility in the Weatherford area. This role requires advanced knowledge of aircraft chemical anodizing, chemfilm (conversion coating), chemical milling, and aerospace pre-treatment processes, along with strong supervisory and operational leadership experience.

Position Summary
The Chemical Processing Supervisor oversees daily operations of the aircraft anodizing and chemfilm department, including shop process management, supervision of team leaders, cost control, and operational development.
This position includes work order processing, logbook entries, maintenance release documentation, regulatory compliance oversight, and direct customer interaction. The role requires independent judgment, discretion, and coordination of customer and company projects.
Essential Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance and repair of chemical processing lines, anodizing tanks, equipment, and tooling at both facilities

Supervise team leaders and shop employees in daily workflow and operations

Ensure project schedules, quality standards, and production flow meet expectations

Track, process, and complete work orders for assigned jobs

Maintain quality logs, process logs, EHS paint logs, and documentation of labor and materials

Work directly with customers on project management, pricing, and support

Manage shift performance measures and provide regular progress reports

Provide employee coaching, development, and performance management

Make employment-related decisions and resolve workplace issues

Ensure compliance with EPA, TCEQ, OSHA, and NESHAP regulations

Comply with chemical storage, handling, and disposal requirements

Expand capabilities of the chemical processing and chemical milling departments

Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
-
AS9100 and Nadcap experience

Minimum 4 years supervisory experience

4-year management degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications

5+ years aircraft experience preferred

Experience supervising four or more team members
-
5–10 years prior experience in aircraft paint or aircraft systems
