Salary: $17-20/hr

Metal Parts Polisher/Finisher

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm

Pay rate: $17/hr or more, based on experience

Location: Meriden, CT

Key Responsibilities

• Polish, buff, grind, sand, and finish metal parts to required specifications
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections
• Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, and polishing equipment
• Inspect finished parts for quality, consistency, and defects
• Follow blueprints, work orders, and finishing standards
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Meet daily production goals and deadlines

Qualifications

• Previous experience in metal finishing, polishing, grinding, or fabrication preferred
• Ability to use air tools, bench grinders, polishing wheels, and sanding equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to read basic work instructions or blueprints
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
