Industrial Cleaner

The Industrial Cleaner is responsible for keeping the mill clean, organized, and safe for daily operations. This position includes cleaning production areas, removing debris, and operating a skid steer to move materials, waste, and byproducts as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning of production areas, equipment, and floors to maintain safety and operational standards.

• Sweep, shovel, and remove sawdust, wood chips, and other debris from work areas.

• Operate a skid steer safely to move materials, load waste bins, and support production and maintenance activities.

• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.

• Maintain cleanliness around machinery and ensure pathways remain clear.

• Assist in cleaning up spills and other potential hazards to keep the work area safe.

• Follow all safety and environmental procedures, including use of PPE and lockout/tagout as required.

• Report equipment issues or unsafe conditions to supervision promptly.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in industrial or mill cleaning preferred.

• Must be trained and able to operate a skid steer safely.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in dusty, noisy, or warm environments.
