Automotive Mechanic - Entry-Level

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Automotive Mechanic for a reputable, fast‑growing automotive repair shop in Lincoln, NE. What You’ll Do

• Train under senior automotive technicians to learn specialized repair skills, including diagnostics and glass installation
• Perform routine automotive maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, and more
• Communicate with customers regarding concerns, diagnostics, recommended services, and repair updates
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
• Support general shop operations and complete additional tasks as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of consistent work experience in your most recent role required
• Basic automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude required
• Familiarity with hand and power tools required
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively required
• Preferred: experience as a lube technician, automotive technician, or related role in the automotive or dealership environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn

Schedule & Pay

• Monday–Friday, day shift
• Pay up to $20/hr
• Weekly pay through Express Employment Professionals
