Located in Amarillo, TX

Salary: $15.00/hr

Express Employment is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Construction Spotter to join our client's team. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a construction crew. Familiarity with construction equipment and experience spotting heavy machinery is preferred.

Employees will meet at a designated location in Amarillo and ride with a crew member to the job site in Claude, TX.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday

  • Some Saturdays required

  • Hours typically 5:00 AM – 6:00 PM (may vary)

  • Expected 45–50 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Safely spot and guide operators of construction equipment

  • Maintain clear communication with equipment operators and crew members

  • Ensure job site safety protocols are followed

  • Perform general labor duties as assigned

  • Assist with moving materials and maintaining a clean worksite

  • Work closely with the crew to ensure efficient daily operations

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly

  • Ability to stand and remain on feet for extended periods

  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Steel toe boots required

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

  • Strong awareness of surroundings and commitment to safety

  • Dependable transportation to meeting location in Amarillo

  • This position will require a background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with construction equipment

  • Previous experience spotting or working around heavy machinery
